Just another example of “New World” distribution. The way things are going, the savvy and ballsy filmmakers will find unique ways to get their films out there, instead of relying on shady distro deals, if any at all. With all that’s available, a filmmaker must be as creative with their marketing as they were when they yelled “action”!

Thanks for the comment. As for the Gates’ quote, he is widely believed to have said it (see: http://quotations.about.com/od/funnyquotes/a/stupidquotes.htm). Of course, I have a feeling that the folks at IBM have some nifty quotes of their own as well. The early mistakes of the computer business is a subject all of its own.

hi Dennis, nice article. However I don’t think Bill Gates said that about the memory. Rather a top dog from IBM at the time said it, i think.
